Dr. Seymour Feshbach
Dr. Seymour Feshbach completed his undergraduate at the City College of New York in 1947 after serving in World War II. He received his PhD in Psychology from Yale University in 1951. After being recalled to the service during the Korean War, Dr. Feshbach joined the University of Pennsylvania in 1952. Dr. Feshbach then started a faculty position in UCLA's Psychology Department in 1964 and retired in 1995. His primary research area has been the study of the antecedents and management of aggressive behavior. Dr. Feshbach also focused on the relation of patriotism versus nationalism to militant national policies.
